Crisis Response
We provide a comprehensive plan for critical incidents. A critical incident is any event that causes an unusually intense stress reaction.
The distress people experience after a critical incident limits their ability to cope, impairs their ability to adjust, and negatively
impacts the work environment.
Examples of critical incidents include:
• Physical violence or threats of physical violence • Employee accident or injury in the workplace or while on duty
• Witnessing a serious accident or crime • Intimidating, threatening or abusive language or behavior
• Sudden illness or death of a co-worker or customer • Natural or man-made disasters that
impact the ability to fully function in the workplace
Consultation of a Situation
Our staff can consult with you immediately about what your organization needs during your crisis.
We will create an individual plan for your organization.
It might be a one-time consultation visit with you or your Leadership team.
It can be providing crisis services directly to your employees.
Our staff can provide local resources for employees.
Our plans are customizable for your organizations.
We can schedule follow-up visits 3 weeks out and even on the anniversary date of the event
Up to 10 team members can help facilitate small or large group debriefings. A full comprehensive program covers the 4 steps of a critical incident process:
The Assessment Phase - Our team will meet with management/team leaders to develop a plan for your situation. After assessing, we will gather local resources for staff and family members.
Debriefing - We have up to 10 staff members who can come on-site to provide a debriefing to your staff. A group debriefing can take as little as 30 minutes to an hour or two. This is not counseling. We help normalize how each person may be feeling during this stressful event.
Our staff will be available for individual meetings afterward as the first step in follow-up care. With our customized plans, we can be on-site for an entire day.
We have optional support including follow-ups two weeks or a month after the event. We can also meet with family members to provide community resources.
